About Us

Our Story

Sheldon’s Shooting Stars – A Metastatic Breast Cancer Charity was set up in July 2022, in loving memory of Shelley Ann Stone who sadly passed away from this incurable disease in December 2021.We are dedicated to providing support and a helping hand to individuals living with metastatic breast cancer, in whatever way we can. Our charity aims to help patients and their families create lasting memories with their loved ones or helps provide them with the things they need to make life more comfortable. Please help us to continue our mission to help as many patients as we can. Thank you.
Empowering the Fight Against Metastatic Breast Cancer

Throughout Shelley’s secondary breast cancer journey, she was part of a support group run by the NHS Breast Cancer Advanced Nurse Practitioner at The Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth, along with many other patients with the same illness. Setting up a charity to help their support group was something that Shelley and the other patients had spoken about for a long time, which was the motivation to set it up following her passing.

Our Vision
Our charity aims to help patients and their families create lasting memories with their loved ones. Since we began we have helped fund small UK holiday breaks, sailing days, family theatre trips, and also contributed towards families once in a lifetime trips by helping towards travel insurance costs.
We fund the support groups venue and anything they require for the monthly meet ups, should you wish to be part of this incredible support group, please get in touch by our contact form, email or social media.
We believe in the power of community and the strength of unity, striving to improve the lives of patients and their families.
